Inter-Projects is a collaboration between Zachary Colbert and Deborah Richards dedicated to the intersection of building and experimental research. We are creative problem solvers, life-long learners, academics and inter-disciplinary thinkers. We do projects collaboratively: small projects like furniture and sculptures, big projects like buildings and interiors, and imaginary projects like exhibitions and academic work. We have offices in New York City and Oklahoma City where we work on projects throughout North America.

We operate in the realms of architecture, urbanism and landscape within the context of Oklahoma and New York City. Lead by Zachary Colbert and Deborah Richards, the studio combines research and practice between these two cities and across many scales. Our cloud-based approach to practice distributes our firm’s resources and personnel within an adaptable network of players, facilities and technology allowing us to develop master planning strategies, academic research trajectories, buildings, interiors, furniture and sculptures simultaneously within a cohesive process and across multiple scales.
